Bran – Dracula’s Castle

Peisaj Muntii Carpati Romania

We decided that it’s time to have a break and we need to go somewhere to relax and enjoy fresh air.

On our way to Bran, we stopped at Mănăstirea Caraiman (Caraiman Monastery) where there are a lot of animals and birds. Also, a very relaxing landscape to Crucea Caraiman (Heroes’ Cross on Caraiman Peak). After that, we went to Casa Ancuței to eat some delicious soup. And it was, indeed!

We arrived in Bran, where it is Dracula’s famous castle. Our accomodation was at Casa Florina, at about 10 mins with the car from Bran Castle. This was the room view that we had and we enjoyed it a lot!

After checking in we searched for some places new to visit. We walked through the village and we saw that there are a lot of foreign tourtists.

Also, we visited Dracula’s Castle. It is also so fascinating.

We arrived in Zarnesti, a small city near Bran and from there we went to Prăpăstiile Zărneşti. While you are walking on a rocky road to get there, the landscape is autumn is super amazing and very relaxing. After breathing some fresh air, we went back to our room and had dinner.

Prapastiile Zarnesti

In the next morning, we woke up with a very lovely landscape and enjoyed it more than the other day! Aaand..we have been stuck in the traffic jam from Valea Prahovei and arrived home late.

*Note: I’ve been in october and january in Bran, so this is why there are photos from autumn and winter. 🙂
